Hello there! I’m Sarah Rose.
I’m a dog mom first and a photographer second, and after working as a photographer for years, I had my “lightbulb moment” - I fell in love with pet portraits.
While shooting newborn portraits (of sweet baby Daniel), I was completely drawn to the family dog, Eddy. He was stressed and tense, but I knew I could rise to the challenge of winning his tryst and capturing his spirit.
When I sat down that night to edit the images we took, mom dad and Daniel looked so happy and relaxed - and so did Eddy! I started to embrace my love of pet portraiture and never looked back.

Your Story, My Passion
When my family gathers, we gather. We tell stories, we laugh, we get loud… and we always end up looking at old photo albums. My grandfather recently passed away, and pictures from his time serving in Korea are a family treasure. Every picture tells a story, and every person is remembered when we come together to share those memories.
I knew early on that I wanted to help families document and share their legacy. Like many photographers, I felt the passion first, and found my path next. This wasn’t my first job, but I’m so grateful to have this career capturing Spokane’s favorite memories.
My last career taught me the true meaning of service: building a connection and highlighting your story is what my job is all about. Now, as a professional photographer, I am honored to preserve those special moments in time for families, couples, and individuals.

Get to know Sarah Rose (that’s me!)
I’ve travelled to 5 countries, and dozens of amazing cities, with many more on my bucket list. I LOVE taking new adventures and documenting every step of the journey.
When I’m not shooting, you can find me at one of Spokane’s cool coffee shops (Rocket Bakery is my current favorite).
I’ve got three very spoiled pups who brighten my day and who like to “help” me edit your photos.
I’m a chronic pain survivor, and I am so grateful for this career that allows me to share art, love, and JOY with people every day.
My very first photography ‘hooray!’ came early - I presented in a regional photo competition back in high school. It was a picture of a jumping spider… as much as I love our creepy, crawly friends, I’m really glad to work with humans and their pets nowadays!
